In 2003, I held by breath, but I was only left to wonder if Kansas would have prevailed in overtime.  In 2008, I again held my breath along with thousands of Jayhawks in Lawrence.  Defeat was inevitable.  I paid the tab and began the grieving process.  With less than 2 minutes remaining, the possibility of overcoming a 9-point deficit was minute.  It’s a moment I’ll never forget.  Among the many highlights a person amasses throughout a lifetime, Mario’s Miracle will forever be among the elite.  Cheers Lawrence!
