I’d say +4,500 constitutes for an upswing… And now, I drink!
March 2008
I relinquished a 2 to 1 chip lead heads-up in Step 6. In the early stages I held QT on a flop of QT5r. I bet and was called by two players. The turn was a Q. I check-called 300. The river bricked and I check-raised all-in. He had 55. Very lucky! Thanks for the cooler flop though PS. With 4 players remaining, I had the chip lead after winning a number of small/medium size pots. Then, I picked up KK and limped at 200/400. The big blind raised 1000 more. I raised allin. He had AA and I flopped a king. Very lucky and thanks for the cooler yada yada yada. I made a coupe cr bluffs then lost K2 v. A6 for 35% of the chips in play. Back to the lower steps for me…
