I should be down alot more money then I am at this point in my trip to vegas.  Since, I have been here I havent seen kk aa, I havent flopped a set.. I dont know if i have seen the nuts.. but maybe i have but it was probably a really small pot.  I got all in qq to aa twice.. one for 2k the other for 3k .. I won the one for 3k so that was cool.

I am just way to impatient to play live cash games anymore.  I feel like playing every hand.. and ofcouse get about 5 caller every hand and it never turns out well.. let me give you an idea of how bad I have been playing.

I raise to 50 with kq clubs and get two callers.  (we are 5  handed).. it acomes kj10 with one club and i bet 100 and get raised by an over active player to 300.  I call and the turn comes a 2 of clubs.  I check he goes all ina for 1150 and I think for a while and call.  I river a club, he slams down the aq..  to his surprise I roll over my clubs.. he makes a huge seen and leaves the casino. .  a

The next hand was really weird.  utg raises to 30.. 3 callers.. i have qq on sb and raise to 150 (was playing very aggresive up to this point so this was a big hand for me.  It goes fold, fold, then allin for 2k which had my 1.3k coverd.  This was such an odd play that I had to call and he rolled over aces, but i turned a straight to lock up the pot.

Even after these two huge suck outs i still managed to lose 2k in cash games this weekend.u

Since I was donking off so much money in cash games i decided to play the bellagio 1k.  I actually played very well and built a good stack off a bunch of crap hands so I was really happy with that.  It got down to 15 people and I had 11 blinds..  I finally got to call a guy all in with aj and he had j5.. i lost that one. but still had 4 blinds left with 6k.. Next hand i saw my first ak of the tourney and got it in vs kq and was sent to the rail.. I guess this was justice for my cash suckouts but it was really annoying to happen back to back.. Because i would have had an average stack if i won the first one.. and would have been back to 10  blinds, which gives me some play if i won the second one.

Anyways.. not a very good vegas trip so far.  im leaving tomorrow so that leaves me with the rest of the night to party

oh yeh… and i dont play blackjack much anyamore but i figured i would play for some cheap drinks just 10 dollar hands and managed to lose 350 bucks..  Good times.  Time to get back on the online grind when i get home tomorrow.

I figured cause my birthday was on a tuesday i would play some poker.  I tried to win every hand i played.. and continued my 3 day losing streak at losing at cash games.  So im glad i lost 800 bucks before i continue on with my day.  Once i thought i had poker figured out again.. i just get so bored playing..

Over the past few days since I made my last post I am glad to say I won a tourney 1-2 days after.  Although it was 150 person omahi hi tourney for 2700… ill take it.  Also had a few other final tables to help cover some of my tourney buy ins.

Today, I had a good day of cash games and ended up booking a couple thousand there and was running deep in a few tourneys.. so i decided to shut those down and complete focus.  I final table bubbled the 200 turbo for 600 and I got 2nd in the 100 rebuys on full tilt for 9k.  I was although somewhat disappointing in my heads up play.  I was very hesitant in making continuation bets and when I did choose to make a move on the other player.. he always seemed to have a hand.  So I can’t really tell if i played poorly or just had bad judgment in spots.. .which is really hard to decipher online.  Anyways.. I fully admit either way I was outplayed heads up and I am going to make it a goal of mine to zone in on my heads up game.. Because the 1st-2nd swings are very big.  Another thing to note this is the most money I have ever won in a day and then continued to further break my door.  Have a good one all!

Yesterday was a pretty good day for me but I am a little disappointed with my conclusion to the the 250k on stars.  I got second in a 30 rebuys omaha tourney for 2k which was nice considering I was in it for 270 bucks. I still need to work on my shorthanded game in omaha because I believe that it is pretty poor from what I can tell.

Anyways in the 300 buy in on stars I slipped into the money with a short stack and ended up building up to 35k at 8001600 with 40 people left.  Once again though i had no patience and jamed k8 suited to a button raise and got snapped by a10 and it was over.

Im really struggling to play these stacks of 20 blinds lately.  I seem to get over anxious and throw my money in because im to worried about blinding out.  Its pretty dissapointing running to a big hand in these situations but its also dissapointing folding down to under 10 blinds and forcing myself into a corner in which i need to double up. So i really need to work on my patience and think about my moves before i make them.. lets go

So last weeks post just got posted before this.  Anyways its been a good week in the cash games.  I have been killing these cash games lately and starting to feel i should just quit playing poker tournaments and stick to the cash games.  So Im going to cut down to a few tournaments while i play my cash games to keep me stuck at my computer.. and ofcourse continue to make a 2k donation every sunday in the majors.

Had a pretty fun hand in a cash game today.  I opened a flop for 30 bucks with k5 on a 467 board with a nut flush draw, next guy called next guy raised to 125 I went all in for 550 and got two callers.. the oppents had j8 and 88.  I rivered a 3 to scoop the pot.. this was a good way to kick off my session. I decided to check the odds and i was 51 percent to win the hand so my somewhat marginal play ended up being a positive ev play.

Well I havent logged in in a while because i forgot my password.  For some reason I remembered it today.  Anyways the past week has been kinda of wild.  I have been playing really well but have been making huge mistakes in 5-10 for big pots.  I have been shoving draws for 1k when guys never 4 bet me decide to 4 bet the flop.  Just really not thinking becuase I have been doing well lately and it is really costing me this week.

I also made a huge mistake yesterday in a Bahamas 14k package qualifier.. top 12 get a seat.  Me and my bro were both in with 40 people with decent stacks.  Finally, after I doubled up to 30k which was at the average and put myself in the game i decided to make a horrible 4 bet all in with 99 with my opponent held jj.  The only reason i went with it was because he shoved a guy two hands right before that.  This was really careless and left me with 13k in chips.  I ended up losing kj to 10j and qq to a8 for 24k pots each and was sent to the rail in 32.  My brother got 31st.  We had a swap on the trip so it was pretty dissapointing day for the Jensen brothers.

Well I played like shit last week and turned a potentially great week into some what of a disappointment. Lets turn things around…

Been about a week since I spoke last..  I went to Bloomington Indiana for homecoming for once again… another shit-show.  I had about a 36 hour period of drinking with some breaks here and there so thats always a good time.  Although i traveled half way across the country to for homecoming.. I didnt even attend the game.. tail gate was fun though.. Anyways I paid for it tues and wed when I was yacking for 7 hours straight and felt like absolute shit..

Anyways I put in one of my longest cash sessions every today.. along with some stgs and tourneys to supplement them.. I continued my rush and felt really good.  What really made me happy about my session today was that i was not distracted at all.  I didnt turn on the tv once in 13 hours and really didn’t want to stop until all my cash games broke and had no choice.

Well now its Halloween and im off to san diego with mike tonight for a party.  So that should be a good time.  Ill prob be back to work Sunday.. which I actually look forward to every week now.. Hopefully ill have a big score to write about.. laters.

Well.. once again my new technology theory comes through for me.  Although, I did have a losing day in my cash games I was able to final table a poker stars $100 buy in…  which I got 4th for 4.5k and 6th in a full tilt 30 rebuys for 1800.  I felt my play was pretty solid today… but I’m not gonna lie I won 99-aa and aq-ak for two huge crucial pots in the Stars tourney… which was very nice of pokerstars.

Usually I have a lot of regrets after tournaments days.. but I felt pretty good about my final table play.. I had one very marginal play in which my opponent shoved 80k under the gun i had 260k and I just called right behind him.  The BB ended up shoving all in and he had me covered and I decided to fold and save my last 170k..  Both players ended up having ak here… but next time I have to shove or fold this.  Although I made this call in case someone shoved over me… this can’t have been the right play and I am a little dissapointed with that..  Anyways thats about it for the day.

So after a few of my best weeks in cash every… I decided it was time to reward myself for hard work.  Ive always noticed improvement in my game when I do a technology upgrade.  It makes me much more comfortable with my play knowing I have good tech behind me.. as opposed to my old laptop that costed me  1000’s of dollars in disconnects and crashes.

So anyways.  I went to frys to buy the gateway 30″ and ended up walking out with apple 30″… which I just knew would keep me hooked to my computer.. and thats where I need to be spending most of my down time now to make some money..  Anyways, I get home hooked it up.. and what do you know… theres a hair in the middle of my monitor.  Nothing can ever just go right.  First… your janky ass iphone now this… im starting to question apples greatness….  Lets see if this thing can make me some money.

I felt really good today.  It helped flopping, turning or rivering the nuts every 5 hands I was playing.  Anyways I booked another solid cash win to continue my hot streak in cash games.  I also decided to mix in a few tournaments,  because there were not many cash games available to play.

I played a few tournaments, including my favorate the nightly $100 six max tournament.  I think this is one of the best tournaments on full tilt.  it is six handed and has a very weak field.. so it is very easy to build a stack early in my opinion.  Anyways when we got into the top 20 I decided to close all my cash games and book that at a solid 1800 profit.  I really was focused in this and I felt confident I would enter the top 10 with my stack at like 60k avg 45k.  Anyways, I got caught up in the action and made this play…

I told myself I was going to call him becuase he recently reshoved 50k with 55 and made a 3  barrel bluff on a guy with j high.  He just seemed really spewy and I thought he may shove me because I had been pretty active too .  All though I had odds to 33 to win 58… He prob had a pair so I made the call.   I still had 1ok left after.. but I think I could have grinded pretty deep if i just made the fold.. atleast i think  buw whatever.

Anyways,  it was bothering me soI had to talk about it.. Now I feel better.
