So after a crazy night of partying at the palms in Las Vegas then driving around 5 hours the next morning looking for me and mikes condo, I decided to make the trip back home before I spent all of my money partying and not playing poker.  The day I got home I decided to play some cash games and after about 2 hours managed to blow $1500 bucks.  I was sick of playing cash games so I thought I would play some $110 dollar turbos and see how that worked out for me.  Ive stuck to playing these sit n goes all week and managed to average a 25% roi over about 250 of them.  So I think I have found my new calling in poker.  I really have gotten used to the structure and just punishing people on the bubble, because people are terrified of getting 4th in these.  I also won another main event seat on Sunday.. so Im definitely going to be entering the main event now and am pretty excited about it. So all in all.. I’m really happy I went with my gut on this life decision of mine and Ill be back up in Vegas for round two in about a week!

So last night I finally had a good experience on pokerstars last nite ,and I won a world series seat.  I was really excited that I could use the momentum from this cash to take with me to vegas.  So after making the drive up to vegas this morning I arrived and watch the conclusion of the US Open, which was awesome, except I was kinda pulling for the underdog this time just because he was playing so well and really deserved to win.  Anyways after that I headed over to the Rio and started playing some poker.. The plan was to play in the 1.5k event tomorrow but after busting 3rd to the biggest donkey ever in my satelite I decided to grind out some cash.  I played some 2/5 at the Rio, and pretty much lost about every big hand I had for the day.  I actually played extremely bad today, I kept commiting myself in pots, where I had a good hand (set, top two) and of course my opponent had the nuts, but it was pretty obvious I was beat.  Its been a while since I have played live and I think I let my internet game influence me a little to much.  So hopefully I can figure that out over the next couple weeks.  Anyways, I’m gonna try to play in a venetian $500 deep stack tomorrow.  I hear the tournament takes for ever so hopefully its not too painful.
